How budesonide works:

Do not use budesonide :

• If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

How to use budesonide :

• Use budesonide turbuhaler as instructed by your doctor.
• The usual dose is once a day, and your doctor may tell you to take it twice.
• This helps prevent asthma symptoms. Your doctor will advise you on the correct dosage to treat your asthma.
• Your doctor will reduce your medications to the lowest dose needed to control your asthma.

Warnings and precautions :

• You have a lung infection.
• You have a cold, chest infection, or any breathing problems.
• You have or have ever had tuberculosis.
• You have liver problems.
• Contact your doctor if you experience blurred vision or other visual disturbances.

Possible side effects :

• Tightness in the throat, swelling of the eyes, face, lips or tongue, or you feel faint or have difficulty breathing.
• Hives or itching of the face or body.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines:

• Medicines that you buy without a prescription and herbal medicines.
• Steroid medications.
• Medicines used to treat fungal infections (such as itraconazole and ketoconazole).
• HIV medications (such as ritonavir or products containing cobicistat.
