Loraday 10 mg 10 Tablets:
Loratadine is used to temporarily relieve the symptoms of colds, allergies, and hay fever, which is an allergy to pollen, dust, and all allergens. Symptoms of an allergy include:
- Runny nose.
- Sneezing.
- Itching.
- Watery eyes.
- Itching in the nose and throat.
- Sinusitis.
Loratadine is contraindicated in the following cases:
- Hypersensitivity to any of its components or to desloratadine.
- Children younger than two years.
Warnings and precautions:
Loratadine is used with caution and under the supervision of a doctor in the following cases:
- Suffering from liver, heart, and kidney diseases.
- Suffering from high blood pressure.
- Phenylketonuria syndrome, a rare genetic condition.
- Advanced and elderly patients.
- Gasping syndrome or respiratory distress in newborns.
- It is not recommended to use Loratadine for breastfeeding women and women during pregnancy, except after medical advice.
- Loratadine should not be coadministered with: other antihistamines. Ethanol. Sedative medications. Carbamazepine. Cimetidine. Clazithromycin, erythromycin citrate.
