Feldene injection 20 mg 5 ampoules:
- The treatment belongs to a group of treatments called “nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,” which work by inhibiting the action of an enzyme (called cyclooxygenase), which is responsible for manufacturing substances in the body that cause inflammation and pain.
- The treatment has analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory effects.
Feldene uses:
Piroxicam is used as an antipyretic and anti-inflammatory agent in the following cases:
- It is used as a pain reliever (mild to moderate).
- Rheumatic spondylitis or ankylosing spondylitis.
- Treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
- Juvenile arthritis.
Contraindications for the use of Feldene:
- It is contraindicated in patients who have shown hypersensitivity to the treatment or to any of its components, to aspirin, to salicylates, or to other NSAIDs.
- It is contraindicated in patients expected to undergo open-heart surgery.
- Bleeding disorders: gastric or peptic ulcer.
- Ulcerative colitis.
- Erythematous lizard.
- Mouth infection.
- Any disease or disorder in the digestive system.
- Pregnancy (in recent months) and breastfeeding.
Precautions for using Veldene:
- Caution should be exercised when using the treatment in the elderly, due to their increased sensitivity to the side effects that the treatment may cause.
- It is not recommended to use the treatment in children under 12 years of age.
- The treating physician must be informed if any of the following diseases or ailments are present, as some cases may require special precautionary measures or modified doses: Bronchial asthma.
Open heart surgery.
Liver impairment or disease.
Hypertension.
Kidney impairment or disease.
Disease or disorder of the intestines or stomach.
- If the patient is forced to undergo surgery, treatment must be stopped sufficiently before the surgery date.
- If the patient is forced to take treatment with one of the previous warnings, he must consult a doctor or pharmacist first. The doctor may prescribe another treatment that protects the stomach lining.
- If the patient notices blurred vision, he must stop taking the treatment and consult a doctor for an eye examination.

It is best to tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medications, herbs, vitamins, and nutritional supplements before starting treatment.
It is recommended not to coadminister with the following medications:
- Diuretic.
- Treatments for heart disease or high blood pressure, such as candesartan, losartan, and others.
- Lithium methotrexate.
- Blood thinning treatments and warfarin.
- Steroidal treatments Aspirin or other NSAIDs.
- Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (eg enalapril).
