Albotyl 6 vaginal suppositories:
Polycresuline vaginal suppositories 90 mg.
What is polycresuline and what are its uses:
Polycresolene is a polycondensation product of metacresolsulfonic acid and methanal.
It is used in the treatment of local inflammation or infection and damage to vaginal and cervical tissues (eg, discharge from bacterial, trichomonal, and fungal infections, pressure ulcers from the pessary), condyloma acuminata, and protrusion of the cervical mucosa (ectopia cervix).
How to use polycresuline for vaginal use:
- Polycresuline should be inserted deep into the vagina, preferably in the supine position. To prevent the pasties from falling out, they should be applied at night before bed.
- To facilitate insertion, the splint can be moistened with water.
- To prevent damage to clothes and bed linen, it is necessary to use pads. Unless otherwise stated.
- You should use 1 vaginal suppository every 2 days.
- Special Notes: Polycresulline stimulates the healing process. There is no cause for concern when removing dead tissue, even in large quantities, from the diseased area.
- Like any other vaginal medication, policresuline should not be used during menstruation.
