Artelac Advance 0.2% eye and lens moisturizing drops 30 vials:

How eye moisturizers work:

• Moisturizing eye drops hydrate the eye through multiple mechanisms including direct hydration and replacing some lost tear components.
  
• Also, it may reduce the effect of inflammatory agents.

Uses of Artelac Advance Vial:

• This medicine is used to relieve irritated dry eyes.
• Common causes of dry eyes include wind, sun, heating/air conditioning, reading, continuous use of mobile devices or computers, and it may result from some medications.
• It can also be used to treat dry eyes caused by wearing contact lenses.

How to use Artelac Advance vial:

• Eye products are usually sterile, so make sure the packaging is not damaged before use and close the cap after your dose (if using a single-use unit, dispose of the used unit properly after use).
• Tilt your head back slightly and look up.
• Pull the lower eyelid down.
• With the other hand, turn the eye drop bottle upside down near your eye. Try not to touch your eye while doing this.
• Use enough pressure to release one drop (or the contents of the ampoule) into your eye.
• Make sure the medicine has entered your eye.
• Close your eye for one or two minutes and gently press the side of your nose to prevent loss of eye drops and keep the medicine in place.
• The recommended dose is one or two drops (or ampoules) in the affected eye(s) as needed.
• A higher dose may be prescribed in cases of severe dryness.
• Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure how to use this medicine.
• Doses may be changed in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions.
• If you take more medicine than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital immediately.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose.
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a missed dose.

Warnings and precautions:

Before using this medicine, talk to your doctor or pharmacist:

• If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
  
• If you experience changes in vision or eye pain.
  
• If you experience eye irritation or redness that worsens or lasts more than 72 hours.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines including over-the-counter medicines, prescription medicines, herbal supplements, vitamins, and dietary supplements.

Side effects:

Although the following side effects are not common for everyone, some patients may experience the following:

• Blurred vision.
  
• Mild eye irritation or burning.
