Scientific name: Mometasone 0.1% ointment.

Uses:

• It is used to treat some skin problems, such as eczema and some types of dermatitis.
• This medication is a topical product used on the surface of the skin to reduce redness and itching caused by certain skin problems.

How to use:

• Apply a thin layer of cream/ointment and gently massage it into the affected area as directed by your doctor.
• This medication is not recommended for use in children unless recommended by your doctor.
• Wash and dry your hands before and after using the cream/ointment (do not wash your hands after using it if it is being used to treat the skin on your hands).
• Be sure to keep the cream/ointment away from your eyes.
• Do not use this cream/ointment on your face unless directed by your doctor.
• Do not use this cream/ointment on the genital areas unless directed by your doctor.
• Keep using your medication for as long as your doctor tells you to.
• Make sure to close the cap on the tube after using the cream/ointment to avoid leakage or contamination of the medication.
• Doses may be changed in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor or pharmacist's instructions.

Warnings and precautions:

• This medication is intended for external topical use only. Do not swallow this product.
• Avoid contact of the cream/ointment with your lips, eyes, mouth, sensitive areas of the neck and corners of the nose to avoid irritation.
• In case of accidental contact, be sure to rinse the area well with warm water and then allow it to dry.
• Talk to your doctor right away if you or your child have any vision problems (such as blurred vision).
• Talk to your doctor if your skin condition gets worse or becomes inflamed or if it does not improve.
• Do not use this medication for a long period of time over large areas to prevent excessive absorption and subsequent unwanted side effects.

• Store at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius.
• Do not refrigerate the medication in the refrigerator.
