Amifenac 50 mg 20 tablets
Diclofenac sodium is used to treat:
- Inflammation of the joints and bones such as rheumatoid arthritis, acute gout and ankylosing spondylitis.
- Back pain. Muscle strain, joint sprains, sports injuries, and fractures.
- Conditions that affect the tendons, such as tendonitis.
- Mild pain.
Do not take diclofenac sodium:
- If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- If you are allergic to NSAIDs including acetylsalicylic acid.
- If you suffer, or have suffered in the past, from a stomach ulcer, peptic ulcer, or bleeding in the digestive tract.
- If you have stomach or intestinal problems after taking other NSAIDs.
- If you suffer from severe liver or kidney disease.
- If you suffer from serious heart problems.
- If you have had a stroke, heart attack, or blood vessel problems.
- If you are in the last three months of pregnancy.
Possible side effects:
- Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; Itch; red, blistered, or peeling skin; tightness in the chest or throat; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; Unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
- The frequency with which these side effects occur is unknown.
Serious side effects:
- Severe chest pain and shortness of breath
- Sudden weakness and numbness, loss of vision, difficulty speaking
- Abdominal pain with dark stool
- Allergic reactions
- If you experience any of these symptoms, contact your doctor or hospital immediately.
How to take diclofenac sodium:
- Take this drug as ordered by your doctor.
- Take this drug with or immediately after a meal.
- The usual dose is 25-50 mg two or three times daily.
- For children over 1 year of age, the dose is 1-3 mg/kg/day in 2 or 3 divided doses.
