Gaviscon Advance for acidity - mint flavor - 300 ml

• Gaviscon acidity syrup is used to treat symptoms caused by backflow of acid, bile, and pepsin into the esophagus such as regurgitation of acid, heartburn, and indigestion, eg after meals or during pregnancy, and for symptoms of excess stomach acid (hyperacidity).
• Gaviscon acidity syrup may also be used to treat the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux during concomitant therapy with or after withdrawal of acid-suppressing therapy.

Do not take Gaviscon Advance:

• Hypersensitivity to sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium carbonate or hydroxybenzoate esters (parabens).
• Hypersensitivity to methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate.

Warnings and Precautions:

• Gavixon acidity remedy has a high sodium content. This should be especially taken into account for those on a low salt diet (eg in some cases of congestive heart failure and renal impairment).
• Use caution if you have impaired kidney function or if you are on a restricted potassium diet.
• Caution should be taken if you have hypercalcemia, renal calcification and recurrent calcium containing renal stones.
