Hylo gel eye drops 10 ml:
Hylo Gel Eye Drops belong to eye moisturizers.
How to make Hylo Gel:
- Lubricating eye drops moisturize the eye through multiple mechanisms including direct lubrication and replacement of some lost tear components.
- Also, it may reduce the effect of inflammatory substances.
Uses of Hylo Gel Eye Drops:
- This medication is used to relieve dry, irritated eyes.
- Common causes of dry eyes include wind, sun, heating/air conditioning, reading, continuous use of laptops or computers, and may result from certain medications.
- It can also be used to treat dry eyes caused by contact lens use.
How to use Hylo Gel Eye Drops:
- Eye products are usually sterile, so make sure the package is not damaged before use and also close the cap after taking your dose (if using a single-use unit, throw away the used unit after using it).
- Tilt your head back slightly and look up.
- Pull the lower eyelid down.
- With your other hand, turn the eye drop bottle upside down near your eye. Try not to touch your eyes while doing this.
- Use enough pressure to release one drop (or the contents of the vial) into your eye.
- Make sure the medicine gets into your eye.
- Close your eyes for a minute or two, and gently press the side of your nose. This prevents loss of eye drops and keeps the medicine in place.
- The recommended dose is one or two drops (or ampoules) in the affected eye(s) as needed.
- A higher dose may be prescribed in cases of severe dehydration.
- Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure how to use this medicine.
