Do not take hyoscine butylbromide:
- If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- If you suffer from glaucoma (blue water).
- If you suffer from myasthenia gravis.
- If you have or suspect you have a bowel obstruction.
- If you have a condition where your intestines are blocked or not working properly (ileus).
- If you suffer from megacolon.
- If you have an enlarged prostate gland (for men).
Warnings and precautions:

- If you suffer from heart problems such as rapid heartbeat.
- If you suffer from hyperthyroidism.
- If you have difficulty urinating.
- If you have constipation.
