Olfen 140 mg 5 patches - Diclofenac Sodium.
Diclofenac sodium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
It can be used to treat:
- Inflammation of the bones and joints such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, acute gout, and ankylosing spondylitis.
- Back ache.
- Sprains, strains, sports injuries, dislocations and fractures.
- Conditions that affect the tendons, such as tendonitis.
- Slight pain.
Do not take diclofenac sodium:
- If you are allergic to the active ingredient or any other component of this medicine.
- If you are allergic to other NSAIDs including acetylsalicylic acid.
- If you have or have ever had a stomach or duodenal (peptic) ulcer, or bleeding in the digestive tract.
- If you have stomach or intestinal problems after taking other NSAIDs.
- If you suffer from severe liver or kidney failure.
- If you suffer from serious heart problems.
- If you have had a stroke, heart attack, or blood vessel problems.
- In the last three months of pregnancy.
Warnings and precautions:
Talk to your doctor about all your medical conditions before taking this medication including:
- If you suffer from any stomach or intestinal disorders including ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease.
- If you suffer from kidney or liver problems.
- If you have a condition called porphyria.
- If you suffer from any blood or bleeding disorder.
- If you suffer from high blood pressure (hypertension).
- If you suffer from angina, blood clots, or high blood cholesterol levels.
- If you suffer from heart problems.
- If you suffer from diabetes.
- If you smoke.
- If you have systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
Possible side effects:
- Stop using this product and seek immediate medical help if you develop a rash; goosebumps; Itchy; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; zoom. Tightness in the chest or throat. difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; Unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Serious side effects:
- Sudden chest pain and shortness of breath.
- Sudden weakness and numbness, loss of vision, difficulty speaking.
- Abdominal pain and very dark stools.
- Allergic reactions.
- If you experience any of these symptoms, contact your doctor or hospital immediately .
