Ibuprofen is used to relieve mild to moderate pain (headache, toothache, muscle and back pain, and pain associated with menstruation), to relieve fever, and to relieve pain and inflammation in cases of arthritis (such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis).
Do not take ibuprofen:
- If you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients of this medication.
- If you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or other anti-inflammatory painkillers.
- If you have previously had gastrointestinal bleeding after taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
- If you have an ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding or have had at least two attacks in the past.
- If you suffer from severe liver, kidney or heart problems.
- If you suffer from severe dehydration.
- If you have any active bleeding.
- If you have conditions that increase your risk of bleeding.
- If you are in the last three months of pregnancy.
Warnings and precautions:
Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including:

- If you have problems with your blood cells.
