Simbrinza Eye Drops 5 ml:

 It is used to lower eye pressure in adult patients (aged 18 years and older) who have eye diseases known as glaucoma or ocular hypertension and whose elevated eye pressure cannot be effectively controlled by a single medication.

 How to use Brinzolamide and Brimonidine: 

• Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or eye specialist (ophthalmologist) or pharmacist has told you. Consult your doctor or eye specialist (ophthalmologist) or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose is one drop in the affected eye twice a day. 

Do not use Brinzolamide and Brimonidine: 

• Do not use Brexpiprazole in case of hypersensitivity to Brinzolamide and Brimonidine or any of the product's components.

Warnings and Precautions:

• Liver problems.
• A type of high pressure in the eye called angle-closure glaucoma.
• Dry eye or corneal problems.
•  Coronary heart disease (symptoms may include chest pain or discomfort, shortness of breath or choking), heart failure, and high or low blood pressure.
• depression.
• Circulatory disorder or weakness (such as Raynaud's disease or Raynaud's syndrome or cerebral insufficiency).

Potential side effects:

Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you experience throat tightness, swelling of the eyes, face, lips, or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing. Stop using the product if you experience hives or itching on the face or body.

Other medications Brinzolamide and Brimonidine: 

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken or might take any other medicines, including those obtained without a prescription.

• Blood pressure lowering medications
• Heart medications including digoxin (used to treat heart diseases)
• Other glaucoma medications that also treat altitude sickness known as Acetazolamide, Methazolamide, and Dorzolamide.
• Medications that can affect metabolism, such as Chlorpromazine, Methylphenidate, and Reserpine.
• Antiviral agents and retroviruses (used to treat Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)) or antibiotic-resistant drugs.
• Antifungals or antifungal medications
• Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO) or antidepressants including amitriptyline, nortriptyline, clomipramine, mianserin, venlafaxine, and duloxetine.
• Narcotic drugs.
• Sedatives, opiates, or barbiturates.
