Vastarel MR 35 mg 60 tablets:
This medication is intended for use in adult patients, in combination with other medications to treat angina: chest pain caused by coronary heart disease.
How to take trimetazidine:
- Always take this medication exactly as your doctor has told you to. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- The recommended dose of trimetazidine is one tablet taken twice a day during meals in the morning and evening.
- If you have kidney problems or are older than 75 years, your doctor may adjust the recommended dose.
Do not take trimetazidine:
- If you are allergic to trimetazidine or any of the other ingredients of this medication,
- If you have Parkinson's disease: a disease of the brain that affects movement (tremors, rigid posture, slow movements, unsteady gait, unbalanced walking),
- If you have serious kidney problems.
Warnings and precautions:
Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including, if you have:
- Kidney problems. Your doctor may adjust your dose.
Possible side effects:
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. These side effects include:
