Xalacom eye drops 2.5 ml:

Xalatan Eye Drops 2.5 ml contain latanoprost as the active ingredient and 5 ml of timolol.

Uses:

• This combination is used in patients with open-angle glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye that can lead to vision loss) to reduce eye pressure and in patients with ocular hypertension (a condition that causes high eye pressure). 
• It is used to reduce fluid pressure inside the eye in patients with glaucoma and high pressure in the eye.

 Do not take latanoprost and timolol:

• If you are allergic to latanoprost, otimolol, or any other ingredients this medication contains. Tell your doctor about the symptoms you experience. 
  
•  If you suffer from respiratory problems such as asthma or severe lung disease that causes wheezing and shortness of breath.
•  If you have heart problems or an irregular heartbeat.   

Warnings and precautions:

• This medication should be used as directed by your doctor.
• Do not use this medication if you are allergic to it.
• Avoid wearing contact lenses while instilling these drops.
• Before using this medicine, please discuss with your doctor if you have any other eye diseases.

• Allergic reaction.

• pain in chest.
•  Eye infection, or eye irritation.
• Redness and dilation of blood vessels.
•   Darkening of the color of the eyelid or eye.
•   Changes in the color and direction of eyelashes.
•  Increase the length of eyelashes.
•   Eye inflammation, or eye swelling.
•  Blurred vision.
•   Itching or rash.
•  Eye infections and watery eyes.
