Xatral XL 10 mg 30 tablets:

Fusozin tablets XL 10 Extended release mg.

Why is Fuzosin used:

• Alfuzosin can be used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. This occurs when the prostate gland becomes enlarged (hyperplasia), but the growth is not cancerous (it is benign).
•  It can cause problems passing urine. This mainly occurs in older men.

How to take Fusozin:

• The usual dose is one Alfuzosin tablet three times a day.

Do not take Fusozin if:

• You are allergic (hypersensitive) to alfuzosin or any of the other ingredients of alfuzosin.
• You are taking another alpha blocker.
• You have something called orthostatic hypotension.
• You have serious liver problems.

•  You were taking Other alpha blockers such as doxazosin, indoramin, prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin, or phenoxybenzamine.

Warnings and precautions:

Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine if

• You have chest pain.
• You suffer from a long-term urinary tract infection.
•  You will undergo eye surgery for cataracts.
•  You have circulation problems affecting the brain.
•  You have heart problems.
•  You are over 65 years old.
•  You may get a painful erection.

Possible side effects:

• Chest pain Usually, this only happens if you have had angina before.
• You may notice symptoms of angioedema, such as a red, lumpy rash, swelling (on the eyelids, face, lips, mouth, and tongue), and difficulty breathing or swallowing. These are symptoms of an allergic reaction. If this happens, stop taking your tablets and contact your doctor or go to hospital immediately.
