Augmentin 312 mg Suspension 100 ml

The description:

Dosages:

• Children from 3 to 9 months: 25 ml of (amoxicillin + clavulanic acid) 125 three times daily.

• Children 2-6 years: 5 ml of (amoxicillin + clavulanic acid) 125 three times a day. In cases of severe infection, it may be increased to 10 ml (amoxicillin + clavulanic acid) 125 three times a day.
• Children 7-12 years: 5 ml of (amoxicillin + clavulanic acid) 250 three times a day. In cases of severe infection, it may increase to 10 ml of (amoxicillin + clavulanic acid) 250 three times a day.

Warnings and precautions:

• Shake well before each dose.
• Make sure to measure the dose accurately.
• Your pharmacist will be able to recommend a good measure to use.
• Screw the cap back onto the bottle tightly after measuring your dose.
• Taking the medication at the beginning of a meal makes it less likely to cause stomach discomfort.

The components:

Each 5 ml contains:

• 97 mg amoxicillin trihydrate is equivalent to 250 mg amoxicillin.
• 45 mg clavulanate potassium equivalent to 62.5 mg clavulanic acid.
