Peptazole 30 mg 14 capsules:
Scientific name: Lansoprazole 30 mg capsule.
Peptazole 30 mg capsule belongs to acidity and heartburn medications.
How Lansoprazole works:
- The secretion of hydrochloric acid (HCl) into the gastric lumen is a process that is mainly regulated by the H(+)/K(+)-ATPase known as the proton pump, large amounts of which are present in the parietal cells of the stomach.
- A proton pump inhibitor works by irreversibly blocking the hydrogen/potassium enzyme system, inhibiting stomach acid secretion.
- Lansoprazole is a member of a class called "proton pump inhibitors."
