This medication treats bacterial eye infections.

Uses:

• It is used to treat eye inflammation in the short term.

How to use:

• Always take this medication exactly as your doctor has told you to.
• The usual dose is to apply Maxitrol ointment 3-4 times daily.
• The ointment can also be used at bedtime while other eye drops are used during the day.
