Amvasc 2.5mg-30 Cap
Scientific name: Amlodipine 2.5 mg capsule.
Uses:
- To treat patients with high blood pressure.
- To treat patients with coronary artery disease (stable and chronic angina, angina resulting from sudden constriction of the arteries).
How to use:
- Take the medicine as your doctor has told you.
- Take the medicine with a glass of water.
- If you are taking this medication once daily, take it in the morning.
- Recommended dose for adults: 5 mg once daily to a maximum of 10 mg once daily.
- Young, debilitated, elderly or hepatic impairment patients can start with a dose of 2.5 mg once daily.
- Dosage for children: 2.5 mg to 5 mg once daily.
- Doses may change in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor's instructions.
Side effects:
- The most common side effects are headache and swelling, which occur in a dose-dependent manner.
- Fatigue, nausea and drowsiness.
- Abdominal pain.
Warnings and precautions:
- Symptomatic hypotension may occur.
- Exacerbation of angina pectoris and acute myocardial infarction can develop after starting or increasing the dose of amlodipine, especially in patients with acute coronary artery occlusion.
- Increase the dose slowly for patients with severe hepatic impairment.
- Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medications you take, even those you use without a prescription, before you start using amlodipine.
Preservation method:
- Store at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius.
- Do not refrigerate the medicine in the refrigerator.
- Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
- Must be stored in the original packaging to protect it from moisture.
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.
