Scientific name: Glibenclamide 5 mg tablets.
Uses:
- It is used to lower blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes (non-insulin dependent). As an addition to a healthy diet and exercise.
How to use:
- This property is intended for adults only.
- Take this drug as ordered by your doctor.
- Take this drug with food, with the first meal of the day.
- The usual starting dose is 2.5-5 mg once daily.
- Your doctor may gradually increase your dose up to 20 mg as one or two doses daily.

Although the following side effects are not common to everyone, some patients may complain of:
- Decrease in the number of blood cells.
