Capocard 25 mg, reduces blood pressure and protects against complications of high blood pressure - 20 tablets

Scientific name: Captopril 25 mg tablets.

Medical uses of Capocard:

• Treatment of high blood pressure.
• Treating chronic heart failure (when the heart is not strong enough to work properly and pump blood around the body).
• Treating a heart attack.
• Treating kidney disease in diabetics with high blood pressure.

How to take Capocard:

• Take this drug as ordered by your doctor.
• Take this drug at the same time of day.
• Take this drug with or without food.
• The usual dose ranges between 6.25 - 25 mg, 2-3 times a day. Your doctor may increase it to a maximum of 150 mg per day.

Possible side effects:

Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; Itch; red, blistered, or peeling skin; tightness in the chest or throat; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; Unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Warnings and precautions:

Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including:

• If you suffer from liver problems.
• If you have kidney problems or are undergoing dialysis.
• If you have heart problems, especially heart valves.
• If you take medicines that suppress your immune system.
• If you have recently had excessive diarrhea or vomiting.
• If you suffer from diabetes.
• If you have rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, or scleroderma.
• If you take angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors or aliskiren.

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, especially if you take:

• Medicines that suppress the immune system.
• Lithium (for mental illness).
• Potassium supplements.
• Diuretics (water pills).
• Aliskiren.
• Medicines that lower blood pressure.
• Other angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors.
• Gout medications.
• Medicines to treat arrhythmia.
• Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory pain relievers (NSAIDS).

How to store Capocard 25 mg tablets:

• Store at room temperature below 86°F (30°C).
• Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.
• Do not dispose of any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
