Scientific name: Clotrimazole topical solution.
How to use:
- Clotrimazole is used to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and other fungal skin infections. This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis, a fungal infection that causes lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs.
How to use:
- Always take this medication exactly as your doctor has told you to.
- Clean and dry the affected area well before use.
- Apply a little Canesten antifungal solution to the affected area and massage gently 2-3 times a day
- The treatment is used for two weeks after symptoms disappear to avoid recurrence.
Side effects:
Side effects are not common to everyone, but some patients may complain of:
- Itch.
- Problems swallowing or breathing.
- Swelling of your lips, face, throat, or tongue.
- Weakness, feeling dizzy or faint.
- nausea.
Warnings and precautions:
- Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to clotrimazole or to other azole antifungals such as econazole, ketoconazole, or miconazole.
Preservation method:
- Store at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius.
- Do not refrigerate the medicine in the refrigerator.
- Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
- Must be stored in the original packaging to protect it from moisture.
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.
