How Miconazole Powder Works:
Miconazole is an azole antifungal that works by inhibiting fungal growth.
Medical Uses:
- Miconazole is used to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and other fungal skin infections (candidiasis).
- This medicine is also used to treat a skin condition known as tinea versicolor, a fungal infection that causes lightening or darkening of the skin on the neck, chest, arms, or legs.
How To Use:
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
- Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
- Doses may vary in special conditions, so always follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions.
- If you take more medicine than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital immediately.
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is time for the next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a missed dose.
Side Effects:
- Although the following side effects are not common to everyone, some patients may experience:
Burning, swelling, irritation, redness, blister-like bumps, pain, or peeling may occur on the treated skin. - If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Storage Method:
- Store at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius.
