Myogesic  20 Tablets

Scientific name: Paracetamol 450 mg / Orphenadrine Citrate 35 mg tablets.

Uses:

This product is used to relieve the following indications:

  • Headache.
  • fever.
  • Sprains.
  • Stress.
  • Pain resulting from trauma to the trunk, neck, or extremities.
  • Back pain due to intervertebral disc.

How to use:

  • Adults: Take one to two tablets orally three times daily and be sure not to exceed the dose.
  • Make sure you do not take this medicine if you have taken another product containing orphenadrine or paracetamol.
  • Make sure not to exceed the recommended daily dose.
  • Take the tablet with or without food.
  • Take the tablet with a full glass of water.
  • Do not give this medicine to children under 12 years of age.

Side effects:

  • Possible side effects include signs of an allergic reaction, such as rash and itching, signs of breathing and respiratory problems such as difficulty breathing (more likely to occur if you have previously had them after taking similar painkillers such as aspirin and ibuprofen).
  • Sudden weight loss, upset stomach, nausea, yellowing of the skin and eyes, loss of appetite, and unexplained bleeding or bruising.
  • Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, weakness and tiredness, headache, blurred vision, dry mouth, increased eye tension, dilated pupils, urinary retention or hesitation, rapid heartbeat, palpitations, and constipation.

Warnings and precautions:

  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you develop allergic reactions such as shortness of breath, rash, swelling of the face or neck, low blood pressure and dizziness.
  • Be sure to tell your doctor if you have heart, kidney, or liver problems, including alcoholic liver disease, or if you have mild joint inflammation (arthritis) and need to take painkillers on a daily basis.
  • Long-term use of this medication may be harmful to your liver. Do not take this medication for a long time without talking to your doctor first. If your doctor recommends that you take this medication for a long time, safety tests should be performed.
  • Contact your doctor if symptoms do not relieve.
  • Talk to your doctor before starting this medicine if you are taking other medicines containing paracetamol or orphenadrine.
  • Do not take other medicines containing paracetamol or orphenadrine with this medicine.
  • If you are 65 years of age or older, it is recommended to take lower doses to avoid excessive drowsiness.
  • Avoid drinking alcohol when taking this medication.
  • Do not use this medicine for other purposes and do not share it with anyone.
  • Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any of the following medicines: 

  • If you are taking metoclopramide or domperidone (used for vomiting or nausea).
  • If you are taking cholestyramine (used to lower blood cholesterol).
  • If you take blood-thinning medications (such as warfarin) and need to take a pain reliever every day. Chronic concomitant use of pain relievers and blood-thinning medications may increase the risk of bleeding.
  • If you are taking other medicines containing paracetamol or orphenadrine.
  • If you are taking medications such as orphenadrine that may cause side effects, such as drowsiness, constipation, and dry mouth (such as phenothiazines, propantheline, narcotic analgesics, and some antidepressants).
  •  If you drink alcohol.
  • If you are taking chloramphenicol (an antibiotic).
  • If you are taking anticonvulsants.

Preservation method:

  • Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Store the medicine at a temperature below 25°C in a dry place.
  • Keep the medicine in its original package to protect it from moisture and light.
  • Do not dispose of medicines in wastewater or household waste.
  • Do not use damaged grains.
  • Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.
