Avotrene Emulgel 100gm
A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, it is used topically to relieve various types of inflammation and pain when applied to the affected area.
Avotrene Immunogel helps relieve muscle and joint pain caused by osteoarthritis, including joint pain in the hands, elbows, knees, and feet.
Usage:
For use in the following conditions:
- Joint pain caused by arthritis.
- Actinic keratosis.
- For pain relief.
- Apply to hands, wrists, elbows, knees, ankles, ankles, or feet.
Warnings and precautions:
This medication is contraindicated in the following conditions:
- Hypersensitivity to an ingredient.
- Having an asthma attack or severe allergic reaction after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs.
- This medication is not for use in individuals under the age of 18.
- It can increase the risk of a fatal heart attack or stroke, even if there are no risk factors. It should not be used before or after cardiac bypass surgery.
- Your doctor should be consulted about whether it is safe to use this medication if you have previously experienced any of the following:
- Heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol.
- diabetes mellitus
- Heart attack, stroke, or blood clot.
- Stomach ulcer and bleeding in the stomach or intestines.
- Asthma.
- Liver or kidney disease.
- Fluid retention.
- Consult your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Dosage:
- The recommended dose for arthritis is Avotren Immunogel (1%):
- Avotren Immunogel (1%) for lower extremities including feet, ankles, or knees: 4 g topically on the affected foot, knee or ankle 4 times a day.
- Avotrin Immunogel (1%) for upper extremities including hands, wrists, or elbow: 2 g topically on the entire affected hand, wrist, or elbow 4 times a day.
- Do not exceed 8 g/day for any single joint in the upper extremities or 16 g/day for any single joint in the lower extremities.
