• Loratadine belongs to a class of medicines called antihistamines, which are used to treat various allergic conditions.
• Loratadine Tablets are used to relieve symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and perennial allergic rhinitis. Symptoms of these conditions can include sneezing, runny nose, and itchy nose, as well as burning, itching, and watery eyes

Do not take loratadine:

• If you are allergic to loratadine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine

Possible side effects of loratadine:

• Skin rash or rash (including inside the mouth) that is itchy , swelling of the face/tongue/lips/hands/feet , breathing difficulties.

The most common side effects reported in adults and children over 12 years old are:

• Drowsiness , headache , increased appetite , difficulty sleeping.

The most common side effects reported in children ages 2 to 12 years are:

• Headache , nervousness , fatigue
