Fostimon 150 IU 1 Vial:
Fostimon belongs to hormones.
How uliflotropin works:
- FSH directly affects the ovaries in women, as it increases the number of developing follicles and stimulates their growth.
- FSH also increases the production of estrogen, and under the influence of this hormone, the egg continues to grow.
Fostimon uses:
- Fostimon is used to promote ovulation in women who are not ovulating and have not responded to other treatments (clomiphene citrate).
- It is used to achieve the growth of many follicles (and therefore many eggs) in women receiving fertility treatment.
How to use Fostimon:
- It is given by injection into a muscle or under the skin.
- Doses may be changed in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor or pharmacist's instructions.
- If you take more than you should, talk to your doctor or go to hospital straight away.
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose.
- Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a missed dose.
Warnings and precautions:
- Tell your doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible if you do not feel better while you are using the medicine.
