Gaviscon is used to treat indigestion in:
- Heartburn or when your stomach is very acidic.
- Gastritis.
- Gaviscon may also be used to lower the amount of acid in your stomach or intestines when you have an ulcer.
Do not take Gaviscon Indigestion Syrup if:
- You are allergic to aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide.
- You feel very weak and have no energy.
- You have kidney problems.
- You have severe stomach pain.
