- Ingredients: Triprolidine - Pseudoephedrine
Triprolidine 2.5 mg / Pseudoephedrine 60 mg Tablets
- It is a medication used to relieve symptoms of the common cold, flu, and allergies including sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, nasal congestion, and blocked sinuses.
- The tablets contain pseudoephedrine, a decongestant that relieves nasal and sinus congestion, and triprolidine, an antihistamine that helps stop sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes.
- This medicine is for use in adults and children over 12 years of age.
Possible side effects:
- Headache.
- Difficulty sleeping, nervousness and dizziness.
- Difficulty performing tasks.
- Sleepiness.
- Blurred vision.
- Thick mucus, dry mouth or nausea.
- Confusion or depression.
- Tremor, trembling, or slurred speech.
- Low blood pressure.
- heart attack.
- Tingling or numbness in the hands or feet.
- high blood pressure.
- Nosebleeds, dry nose, or dry throat.
- Stomach pain or vomiting.
- Pain when urinating in water.
- Decreased blood flow to the optic nerve.
How to take triprolidine/pseudoephedrine:
- Children under 12 years: This medication is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
- Adults and children 12 years of age and over: 1 tablet every 4 - 6 hours, up to 4 times a day. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
