Varoxa 15 mg 30 tablets:

Rivaroxaban is one of the medications used to treat deep vein thrombosis. It may also be used to treat pulmonary embolism and prevent venous thrombosis in patients undergoing...N for hip and knee replacement surgery.

Uses of Varoxa 15 mg: 

• Treating blood clots, such as deep vein thrombosis, lung clots, or pulmonary embolism, and preventing blood clots from forming again.
• Treating or preventing blood clots or pulmonary embolisms  after hip or knee replacement surgery.
• Preventing the risk of strokes caused by blood clots in patients with atrial fibrillation and irregular heartbeat or in people with peripheral arterial disease and poor blood circulation in the veins in both the arms and legs.

How to use Varoxa:

• This medicine should be taken in the manner and dose recommended by the doctor, and not exceed the specified dose to a higher or lower dose.
• Rivaroxaban 2.5 mg or 15 mg tablets can be taken with or without food.
• It is recommended to take rivaroxaban 15 mg or 20 mg tablets with food, as the effectiveness and absorption of these concentrations of the drug increases with food.

Do not use Varoxa if you have:

• The presence of active bleeding as a result of surgery or a specific injury.
• Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug.
• Patients who have undergone transcatheter aortic valve replacement.

Warnings and precautions:

A doctor should be consulted in the following cases:

• Kidney disease.
• Liver problems.
• Seniors over 75 years of age.
• Presence of hereditary bleeding disorders.
• Taking other medications to treat blood clotting or affect blood clotting.
• Take St. John's Wort supplements.
• The presence of bleeding injuries, such as a wound or bleeding stomach ulcers.
• Uncontrolled high blood pressure.
• Antiphospholipid syndrome, a condition that affects the immune system and increases the risk of clots.

Varoxa and other medicines:

The following medicines should not be used with rivaroxaban:

• Rifampin drug.
• Defibrotide.
• Maybriston
• Clarithromycin, which reduces the concentration of the drug in the blood.
• Other anticoagulant medicines, such as warfarin or clopidogrel.
• Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as aspirin, increase the toxicity of the drug in the body, in addition to increasing the risk of bleeding when used with this drug.
