Irbesartan tablets 300 mg.

Uses:

• Treating high blood pressure Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and non-fatal cardiovascular diseases, especially strokes and myocardial infarction.
• Treatment of diabetic nephropathy in hypertensive patients with type 2 diabetes, high blood creatinine and proteinuria.

How to use:

• Adults over 18 years of age The usual dose is one tablet daily for both high blood pressure and diabetic neuropathy.
• Irbesartan tablet can be taken with or without food.
• It can be taken at any time of the day.
• Do not break the tablet in half.

Do not take irbesartan:

•  If hypersensitivity to irbesartan.
• If you take Aliskiren with diabetes.

Warnings and precautions:

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking irbesartan to monitor:

• Kidney functions.
• Potassium levels.

Side effects: 

• Reduction of Blood pressure.
• Dizziness.
• Increased potassium level.
