- Xerosa belongs to a group of medicines called statins.
- You have been prescribed Xerosa because: You have high cholesterol.
- This means you are at risk of having a heart attack or stroke.
Instructions for use:
- Xerosa is used in adults, teenagers, and children 6 years or older to treat high cholesterol.
- Xerosa should not be given to children younger than 6 years.
Warnings and precautions:
- If you have ever had an allergic reaction to Xerosa or any of its ingredients. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- If you become pregnant while taking Xerosa, stop taking it immediately and tell your doctor.
- Women should avoid pregnancy while taking Xerosa by using appropriate contraception.
- If you have liver disease.
- If you have serious kidney problems.
- If you experience recurring or unexplained muscle aches or pains.
