Uses of Rybelsus:

Rybelsus is an oral medication that works by increasing insulin secretion, leading to increased sugar metabolism. It is also used to treat obesity in diabetic patients, as semaglutide helps the pancreas release the appropriate amount of insulin when blood sugar levels are high. It may be used in many medical conditions, including the following: 

• Helps improve blood sugar control in people with type 2 diabetes. 
• Indicated for the treatment of adults with type 2 diabetes to improve blood glucose control as an adjunct to diet and exercise.

How to use: 

Rybelsus tablets should be swallowed whole with or without food; do not crush, chew, or open the tablets. The dose is determined by the doctor according to the age group, which can be explained as follows: 

• Adults: 14 mg once daily, taken with or without food, and the dose can be increased to 21 mg once daily after two weeks of starting treatment.

Usage instructions:

• It is a once-daily tablet.
• This medicinal product should be taken on an empty stomach at any time of the day. (Ideally right after waking up in the morning).
• Patients must wait at least 30 minutes before eating, drinking, or taking other oral medicinal products.

Warnings and precautions:

Pills cannot be used in the following cases: 

• •  Allergy to semaglutide or any other components of the medication.
  • Liver or kidney diseases.
  • Eating disorders.
  • Pancreatitis.
  • Intestinal obstruction.
  • Severe heart disease.
  • Heart failure.
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
