Miconaz antifungal cream 20 g

How it's Made:

• Miconazole is an antifungal from the azole family that works by inhibiting the growth of fungi.

Uses:

• Miconazole is used to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and other fungal skin infections (candidiasis). This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as tinea versicolor, which is a fungal infection that causes lightening or darkening of the skin on the neck, chest, arms, or legs.

How to use:

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you.
• Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Doses may be changed in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more medicine than you should, talk to your doctor or go to hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a missed dose.

Warnings and precautions:

• Before using miconazole, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it or to other azole antifungals such as clotrimazole, econazole, or ketoconazole; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients that can cause allergies or other problems.

Side effects:

Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain of:

• Burning, swelling, irritation, redness, bumps resembling blisters, pain, or peeling may occur in the treated skin. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
