Uses:

It can be used in the following infections:

• Skin infections.
• Bone and joint infections.
• Gastrointestinal infections.
• Urinary tract infections.
• Respiratory infections.
• Reproductive system infections (gonorrhea).
• Typhoid fever.

How to use:

• Take this medication at the same time of day.
• Take the tablets with or without food.
• Swallow the tablet whole. Do not split, crush, or chew the tablet.
• Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication.
• Do not take this medication with dairy products, such as milk or yogurt, or calcium-rich juices.
• Doses may vary depending on the type of infection and severity of the infection.
• For adults, the usual average dosage is 250 - 750 mg every 12 hours.
• For children, doses are usually given according to the child's body weight in mg/kg/dose. It is usually between 10-20 mg/kg/dose every 12 hours.
