How to use:

• For oral use.
• Adults: 300 mg twice daily.

• Bacterial or fungal overgrowth of nonsusceptible organisms may occur with prolonged or repeated treatment.

Interaction with other medications:

• Antacids containing magnesium or aluminum interfere with the absorption of cefdinir, so take it at least two hours before or after the antacid.
• Iron supplements, including multivitamins that contain iron, interfere with the absorption of cefdinir. Take cefdinir supplements at least 2 hours before or after supplements.
