Instructions for use:
Etrivex 500 mcg/g shampoo should be applied directly to dry scalp once daily taking care to cover the lesions well and massage them in.
An amount equivalent to about half a tablespoon (about 7.5 ml) per application is enough to cover the entire scalp.
The total dose should not exceed 50 g per week.
For dermatological use on the scalp only.
After use, Etrivex 500 mcg/g shampoo:
It should remain in place uncovered for 15 minutes. Hands should be washed carefully after application.
After 15 minutes, the product should be rinsed well with water and/or the hair can be washed using an additional amount of regular shampoo if necessary to facilitate washing.
After that, hair can be dried as usual.
The duration of treatment should be limited to a maximum of 4 weeks.
Once clinical results are observed, applications should be spaced apart or replaced, if necessary, with an alternative treatment.
If no improvement is noted within four weeks, it may be necessary to re-evaluate the diagnosis.
Repeated courses of Etrivex 500 mcg/g shampoo may be used to control exacerbations provided the patient is under regular medical supervision.
Warnings and precautions:
Hypersensitivity to corticosteroids.
Therefore, Kaobetasol propionate is not recommended in patients with hypersensitivity to other corticosteroids.
