Scientific name: sitagliptin 100 mg + metformin 1000 mg tablets.
Uses:
- Reducing blood sugar for type 2 diabetics.

How to use:
- Take Janumet X exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

- Take Janumet X-Ermer once daily with your evening meal to reduce your chance of stomach upset.
- If you are taking Janumet XER, swallow Janumet
- Keep taking Janumet Xer as long as your doctor prescribes it so you can continue to help control your blood sugar.
You may need to stop Janumet XER for a short time. Call your doctor for instructions if you:
- You have a condition that may be associated with dehydration such as severe vomiting, diarrhea, or fever, or if you drink much less fluids than usual.
- Plan to have surgery.

Side effects:

- You feel cold, especially in your arms and legs.
