Gyno-Candizol 400 mg Vaginal Ovule 3pcs

Uses of Gyno-Candizol:

  • This medication is used to treat vaginal yeast infections.
  • Miconazole reduces vaginal burning, itching, and discharge that may occur with this condition.
  • This medication is an azole antifungal.
  • It works by stopping the growth of the fungi causing the infection.

How to use Gyno-Candizol:

  • This product is for vaginal use only.
  • Wash hands before and after use.
  • Avoid contact of this product with your eyes.
  • If it gets into your eyes, wash them immediately with plenty of water.
  • The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
  • Use the medication usually once daily at bedtime for 1 to 7 nights as directed by your doctor.
  • If using a vaginal suppository, you may use your finger to insert the suppository.
  • Unscrew the suppositories before use.
  • Follow the package instructions on how to fill the solution with the vaginal suppositories.
  • Lie on your back with your knees toward your chest.
  • Insert the tablet into the vagina as far as it can fit comfortably.

Warnings and precautions:

  • Do not use Gyno-Candizol if you are allergic to the active ingredient or any other ingredient of this medicine, or to any other antifungal medicine.
  • Do not use tampons, douches, spermicides, or other vaginal products while using this medication.
  • Unscented sanitary pads can be used during menstruation or to protect your clothes from medication leakage.
  • Tell your doctor if your condition does not improve after 3 days or persists more than 7 days.
  • Tell your doctor if the infection returns within 2 months.
  • You may need a different or additional medication to treat your condition.
  • If you have any of the following health problems, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine:

    • diabetic.
    • Recurrent vaginal yeast infections (more than 3 in 6 months or 4 in 1 year).

Other medicines and miconazole nitrate:

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, especially:

  • Blood thinners such as warfarin.
  • Diabetes medications.
  • Heart medications called calcium channel blockers.
  • Phenytoin.
  • Statins used to lower cholesterol levels.

Possible side effects:

  • A headache or burning sensation in the vagina , urethra , itching , pain or cramps in the lower abdomen may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
  • A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs.
