Ravildo 25 Mg Tablet 30pcs
Scientific name: Carvedilol 25 mg tablets.
Uses:
- It is used to treat essential hypertension (mild to moderate) and chronic angina to prevent attacks.
- It is used to treat mild to severe cases of stable heart failure due to ischemic cardiomyopathy.
- It is used as an adjunct to standard therapy (diuretics, digoxin, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors).
How to use:
1. Essential hypertension:
- For adults: The initial dose of Ravildoa is 12.5 mg given once daily for the first two days and then in a dose of 25 mg.
- Elderly patients: Initially, a dose of 12.5 mg of Ravildo is given once a day.
2. Angina pectoris:
- The initial dose of Ravildo is 12.5 mg twice daily for the first two days and then 25 mg twice daily.
- It is recommended daily and if the effect is insufficient, the dose can be increased gradually at at least intervals.
- Elderly patients: In general, a dose of 25 mg of Ravildo twice daily should not be exceeded.
3. Treatment of mild acute heart failure (NYHA class II-IV):
- The dose of Rivaldo should be determined individually and the patient should be closely monitored during titration.
- The dosage of digitalis, diuretics, and ACE inhibitors should be stabilized before starting Rivaldo.
- The recommended starting dose is 3.125 mg of Ravildo taken twice daily.
- The dose increases to 12.5 mg twice daily and then to 25 mg twice daily.
- The maximum recommended dose is 25 mg twice daily for patients weighing up to 85 kg and 50 mg twice daily in patients weighing more than 85 kg.
- Before each dose increase, the physician should examine the patient for signs and symptoms of worsening heart failure, vasodilation (low blood pressure, dizziness), or bradycardia. Transient deterioration.
4. If treatment with Ravildo is stopped for more than two weeks, it should be restarted at a dose of 3.125 mg:
- This dose should then be increased at two-week intervals, as described above.
- Signs and symptoms of vasodilation should be treated initially by reducing the dose of the diuretic.
- The dose of the angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor should be reduced, after which the dose of Ravildo should be reduced.
- Under these circumstances, the dose of Ravildo should not be increased until the signs and symptoms of worsening heart failure or vasodilation improve.
- The safety and effectiveness of Ravildo have not been investigated in patients younger than 18 years.
- Patients with renal impairment: It is not necessary to reduce the initial dose in patients with renal impairment.
- Patients with liver failure: Careful dose titration should be performed in case of hepatic failure.
- Rivaldo tablets should be taken with a sufficient amount of liquid.
- Patients with heart failure should take Ravildo tablets with food in order to slow the rate of absorption and reduce the incidence of orthostatic effects.
- Treatment with Ravildo is generally long-term and should not be stopped suddenly but tapered over several days, this is particularly important in patients who also have coronary artery disease.
