Xefo 8 mg 1 vial:

• Analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug from non-steroidal compounds.
• It is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and mild to moderate painful conditions including postoperative pain.

Warnings and precautions:

• It should not be given to patients who are allergic (hypersensitive) to lornoxicam.
• It should not be given to patients who are allergic to other NSAIDs including acetylsalicylic acid (e.g. aspirin).
• It is not given to patients with thrombocytopenia (low platelet count which increases the risk of bleeding or bruising).
• It is not given to patients with severe heart failure.
• It should not be given to patients with gastrointestinal bleeding, rupture and bleeding of a blood vessel in the brain, or other bleeding disorders.
• It is not given to patients with severe liver failure.
• It is not given to patients with severe kidney failure.
• It should not be given to pregnant women in the last three months of pregnancy.
• Avoid lornoxicam during varicella (chickenpox) infection.
• Not recommended for use by children under 18 years of age.
• It is not recommended for use in elderly people over 65 years of age.
• In case of overdose, be prepared to tell or show what was taken, how much and when it occurred, and seek immediate medical attention.

Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may report:

• Stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, indigestion, wind, and loss of appetite.
• Headache, dizziness and vertigo.
• rash.
• Fast or irregular heartbeat (palpitations), chest pain, and heart disturbances.
