Ciproxen 500 mg 10 Tablets
Scientific name: Ciprofloxacin 500 mg tablets.
Uses:
- Ciprofloxacin is used to treat or prevent infections caused by bacteria sensitive to ciprofloxacin.
How to use:
- Take this drug as ordered by your doctor.
- Take this drug at the same time of day.
- Take this drug with a full glass of water.
- It is prohibited to take the drug with dairy products such as milk, yogurt, or calcium-rich juices.
- Swallow the tablets whole. Avoid chewing, breaking, or crushing.
- For adults: The usual dose is between 250 - 750 mg every 12 hours.
- For children: Dosing is usually given according to the child's body weight in mg/kg/dose. It is usually between 10-20 mg/kg/dose every 12 hours.
Side effects:
- rash ; Itch; Red, blistered, or peeling skin.
- tightness in the chest or throat; Difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking.
- Unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Warnings and precautions:
Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including, if you have:
- If you suffer from tendon problems.
- If you have heart problems, including heart failure (weak heart) or irregular heartbeat.
- If you suffer from nervous system problems such as epilepsy or seizures.
- If you suffer from nerve problems.
- If you suffer from kidney problems.
- If you suffer from liver problems.
- If you suffer from rheumatoid arthritis or other joint problems.
- If you suffer from myasthenia gravis.
- If you suffer from diabetes.
- If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
- Do not take ciprofloxacin if you are allergic to the active ingredients or to any of the quinolone antibiotics or to the other ingredients of this medicine.
Preservation method:
- Store at room temperature from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius.
- Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.
