Mycohel 400 mg 3 vaginal suppositories - Miconazole nitrate 400 mg vaginal suppositories.

• This medication is used to treat vaginal yeast infections.
• Miconazole reduces vaginal burning, itching, and discharge that may occur with this condition.
• This medication is an azole antifungal.
• It works by stopping the growth of the fungi causing the infection.
• Do not use miconazole nitrate.
• If you are allergic to the active ingredient or any other ingredient of this medicine, or to any other antifungal medicine.

Warnings and precautions:
If you have any of the following health problems, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine:

• diabetic.
• Recurrent vaginal yeast infections (more than 3 in 6 months or 4 in 1 year).
• Do not use tampons, douches, spermicides, or other vaginal products while using this medication.
• Unscented sanitary pads can be used during menstruation or to protect your clothes from medication leakage.
• Tell your doctor if your condition does not improve after 3 days or persists more than 7 days.
• Tell your doctor if the infection returns within 2 months.
• You may need a different or additional medication to treat your condition.

Possible side effects:

• Headache, vaginal/urethral burning/itching/pain, or lower abdominal cramps may occur.
• If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
• If your doctor has directed you to use this medication, remember that your doctor has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects.
• Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.
• A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs.

• Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include:

  • Skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

Instructions for use:

• This product is for vaginal use only.
• Wash hands before and after use.
• Avoid contact of this product with your eyes.
• If it gets into your eyes, wash them immediately with plenty of water.
• The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
• Use the medication usually once daily at bedtime for 1 to 7 nights as directed by your doctor.
• If using a vaginal suppository, you may use your finger to insert the suppository.
• Unscrew the suppositories before use.
• Follow the package instructions on how to fill the solution with the vaginal suppositories.
• Lie on your back with your knees toward your chest.
• Insert the tablet into the vagina as far as it can fit comfortably.
