A non-drowsy formula designed to relieve nasal congestion, fever, and pain.
Contains two active ingredients:
Paracetamol (325 mg): pain reliever and fever reducer.
Pseudoephedrine HCL (30 mg): a decongestant that opens nasal and sinus passages without causing drowsiness.
Relieves sore throat, sinus pain, headache, and cold or flu symptoms.
Fast relief from congestion, headache, and fever.
Non-drowsy formula for daytime use.
Suitable for adults and adolescents (12 years and older).
Easy-to-swallow capsules.
Adults and elderly: 1-2 capsules up to 3 times daily (maximum 6 capsules per day).
Adolescents (16-18 years): 2 capsules up to 3 times daily (maximum 6 capsules per day).
Adolescents (12-15 years): 1 capsule up to 3 times daily (maximum 3 capsules per day).
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Do not take Adol Sinus if:
You have any allergic reaction to paracetamol, pseudoephedrine, or any other ingredients in Adol Sinus.
You are taking other sympathomimetics (such as decongestants and tricyclic antidepressants).
You suffer from high blood pressure, hyperthyroidism, prostate enlargement, heart problems, or glaucoma (excessive pressure inside the eye).
You have kidney failure, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
You have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), usually prescribed for depression, in the last two weeks.
You are taking moclobemide for depression, beta blockers for high blood pressure, oxazolidinone antibiotics (such as furazolidone or linezolid), appetite suppressants, or stimulant drugs called amphetamines (sometimes used to treat attention deficit disorders or excessive sleepiness).
For more than 5 days unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
You are under 12 years old.
Driving and using machines:
This product may cause dizziness as a side effect that can affect your ability to drive or use machines. Do not drive or use machines if you feel dizzy.
Do not take if you are allergic to paracetamol, pseudoephedrine, or any ingredients of this product.
Avoid if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney failure, glaucoma, or hyperthyroidism.
Not recommended for children under 12 years.
Do not use for more than 5 days unless directed by a doctor.
May cause dizziness; avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
Do not take with other medicines containing paracetamol or decongestants.
Possible side effects.
Like all medicines, Adol Sinus can cause side effects, but not everyone gets them.
Stop taking this medicine and seek immediate medical attention if you experience:
Sudden severe headache.
Breathing problems, especially if you have had a similar reaction to aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Skin rash, peeling, or mouth ulcers.
Unexplained bruising or bleeding, or infections such as sore throat – this may be a sign of very rare blood changes.
Allergic reactions such as rash or itching, sometimes with breathing difficulties (or wheezing) or swelling of the mouth, lips, tongue, throat, or face.
Difficulty urinating. This is more likely in men if you have an enlarged prostate.
Sudden fever, skin redness, or many small blisters.
The following side effects may occur. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you experience them.
Nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, sleep disturbances, nervousness, and dizziness. These are common side effects.
Fast or irregular heartbeat, agitation, insomnia.
High blood pressure, heart palpitations, and hallucinations (especially in children) are rare side effects.
Anxiety, headache, and [الرعشة].
