Amlopine 10 Mg Amlodipine 30 Capsules :

Amlodipine contains the active ingredient amlodipine, which belongs to a group of medicines called calcium channel blockers.

Please note that your doctor may have prescribed this medicine for different uses and/or at a different dose than that mentioned in the package leaflet.

Always follow your doctor's prescription as stated on the pharmacy label.

Amlodipine is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) or a special type of chest pain called angina, including a rare form called Prinzmetal's or variant angina.

In patients with high blood pressure, the medicine works by widening the blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily through them.

In patients with angina, amlodipine works by improving blood flow to the heart muscle, which then receives more oxygen to prevent chest pain.

The medicine does not provide immediate relief for chest pain caused by angina.
