• First degree burns are burns that involve only the upper layer of the skin and are mild in origin and usually heal quickly (such as sunburn).
  
• Second degree burns, which are superficial and deeper burns, may not require skin grafting (removal of skin from one area to the affected area) if treated properly with this medication.
• Third-degree burns (burns affecting deeper layers of skin, sometimes reaching tendons, bones, and muscles), to reduce the painful area of ​​skin and prepare it for non-surgical debridement and grafting.
• To reduce pain in the donor area (the area of ​​skin from which a strip of skin is taken to be grafted and used in the affected area of ​​skin) and to control the risk of infection at this site, promoting skin healing.
• Surgical wounds including obstetric wounds (resulting from childbirth and related operations).
• Chronic wounds such as diabetic foot, leg ulcers and bed sores.
• Procedures such as chemical peeling, dermabrasion (peeling technique) and laser peeling.
• Circumcision wounds.
• Cracked nipples or heels.
• Mucous membrane wounds such as mouth ulcers.

Warnings and precautions:

• Stop taking the medicine immediately and talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have any allergies or skin reactions to any of the ingredients in this gel such as skin itching, skin redness, shortness of breath, rash, puffiness of the face or neck, low blood pressure, dizziness.

• This medication is intended for external topical use only. Do not swallow this product.

• Use your medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor, and do not use it for other purposes.
• Do not repeat the same prescription without talking to your doctor first.

How to use beta sitosterol:

• Apply a thin layer of ointment to the affected skin area as soon as possible. Leave the affected area exposed.

• Repeat the ointment 3 to 4 times daily if the burned area is not covered and twice daily if the burned area is covered.

Second degree burns:

The first stage (liquefaction period):

• Repeat the ointment 3 to 4 times daily if the burned area is not covered, and twice daily (apply a thick layer of ointment) if the burned area is covered.

The second stage (reform period):

• The ointment should be applied as before but less frequently; 2 to 3 times daily.

The third stage (rehabilitation period):

• The ointment should be applied as before but less frequently; Once daily.

Third degree burns:

• Apply ointment as directed for second degree burns during the liquefaction phase; A thin layer of ointment on the affected skin area as soon as possible and reapply 3 to 4 times daily.

Donor area:

• Apply a thin layer of ointment to the affected skin. Repeat the ointment 3 to 4 times daily if the burned area is not covered and twice daily if the burned area is covered.

Leg ulcers:

• Soak a sterile gauze with the ointment making sure to completely fill the ulcer cavity and reapply twice daily.

Cracked nipples:

• Apply a thin layer of ointment to the affected nipple under a light pillow. Reapply the ointment 3 to 4 times daily. This medicine is safe for your baby if you are breastfeeding.

How to store beta sitosterol:

• Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and pets.
• Store at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius.
• The appearance of this medicine may change when stored in hot seasons, but this does not affect its effectiveness.
• Do not dispose of medicines in wastewater or household waste.
