It is available as a cream or ointment and contains the active ingredient betamethasone valerate at a concentration of 0.1%.
What are the indications for using Betazon 0.1% ointment?
This medicine is used to treat a range of skin disorders (eczema, dermatitis, allergies, and rash).
Betamethasone helps relieve swelling, itching, and redness that may accompany these conditions.
This is a medium-strength corticosteroid.
It works by stimulating natural molecules in the skin that reduce swelling, redness, and irritation.
Betamethasone is suitable for both adults and children over one year old.
However, it may not be suitable for everyone.
Before using this medicine, visit your doctor or pharmacist, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are taking any other medications.
Wash and dry your hands, then squeeze out the appropriate amount.
Spread the cream or ointment thinly over the inflamed skin.
Gently smooth it onto your skin in the direction of hair growth.
Apply the preparation or ointment to all affected skin areas, not just the worst spots.

Use is contraindicated in hypersensitivity to betamethasone dipropionate or other corticosteroids or any component of this preparation.

If you have acne or pimples, redness around or on your nose, a rash around your mouth, or itchy skin.
Aminoglutethimide.
Amphotericin B injections and potassium-depleting agents.
Antibiotics, especially macrolides.
Betazon cream should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
Keep it away from children and pets.
