Budiair 200 mcg inhalation solution:

• The medicine is a glucocorticoid as a chest spray.

Instructions for use:

• Always use the medication exactly as your doctor has told you to.
• Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• It is necessary to use the medicine regularly to achieve the full therapeutic effect. The effect begins after about 10 days. The full therapeutic effect is achieved after 2-4 weeks of continuous treatment.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember and take the next dose at the scheduled time.
• Do not stop taking budesonide without checking with your doctor.

Adolescents from 12 years of age and adults:

• 1-2 puffs of air twice a day, equivalent to 400 - 800 mcg of budesonide per day.

Children from 6 to 12 years:

• One puff of air twice a day, equivalent to 400 mcg of budesonide per day.

Children under 6 years:

• Experience of use in children under 6 years is limited.
• As a general rule, the maximum daily dose of budesonide should not exceed 800 mcg for children under 12 years of age.

Warnings and precautions:

Please talk to your doctor before using this medicine:

• If you have a gastrointestinal ulcer, tuberculosis of the lungs or other infections of the airways (eg fungal infections).
• If you are used to taking high doses for long periods of time.

Tell your doctor if you experience symptoms of pneumonia while using budesonide. These symptoms include:

• Fever or chills.
• Increased mucus formation, change in mucus color.
• Increased coughing or difficulty breathing.

When treated with high doses:

•  When the recommended dose is exceeded, clinically relevant functional impairment of the adrenal cortex can occur with decreased endogenous glucocorticoid production, or endogenous glucocorticoid production that cannot be sufficiently increased in case of increased demand (stressful situations).
