Effective against most strains of the following Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms:

Cefim 200 mg is used to treat:

• Pharyngitis, tonsillitis and sinusitis.
• Acute bronchitis and acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis.
• Inflammation of the middle ear.
• Uncomplicated urinary tract infections.
• Uncomplicated gonorrhea of ​​the urethra or cervix.

Instructions for use:

• Adults and children over 12 years of age who weigh more than 50 kilograms—400 milligrams (mg) once a day or 200 milligrams (mg) every 12 hours.

Warnings and precautions:

• Before starting treatment with cefixime, it should be confirmed whether there are any previous hypersensitivity reactions to cephalosporins or penicillins.
